Description
Our 2kg DCP Fire Extinguisher Refilling Service recharges empty, discharged, or partially used dry powder fire extinguishers with fresh ABC chemical powder and dry nitrogen gas. Unlike CO2 units, dry powder extinguishers operate as stored-pressure units, requiring proper chemical filling and precise nitrogen pressurization.
During the service, technicians empty any remaining chemical, inspect the internal shell and valve, fill the cylinder with fresh ABC dry chemical powder, and replace the rubber O-ring seals. The unit is then pressurized with dry nitrogen gas to the standard operating pressure, tested for leaks, and fitted with a new safety pin, tamper seal, and updated service tag.
