The 360-S2 is an intelligent, surface-mounted optical smoke detector engineered for open-area protection in addressable fire alarm systems. Utilizing an infrared light-scattering chamber managed by an internal microprocessor, the unit continuously evaluates ambient obscuration to detect visible smoke particles from slow, smoldering fires. The detector communicates over a standard 2-wire signaling loop (17V to 28V DC), supports up to 125 addressable nodes per loop via DIP switch configuration, and includes Surface Mount Device (SMD) circuitry for stability against electromagnetic noise. Housed in a low-profile white enclosure with dual omnidirectional LEDs, the 360-S2 provides 360-degree visual status verification and complies with EN 54-7 standards.
