6″ DI (BS1387) GROOVED H/D FLEXIBLE COUPLING

The 6″ Ductile Iron (DI) Heavy-Duty Flexible Coupling is engineered for high-pressure piping systems requiring both strength and structural flexibility. Specifically designed to be compatible with BS1387 (EN 10255) steel pipes, this coupling features a grooved end connection that allows for controlled linear movement, angular deflection, and thermal expansion/contraction.
Constructed from high-grade Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), the housing is finished with a corrosion-resistant red paint or hot-dip galvanization. It comes equipped with a heavy-duty EPDM gasket (C-shaped) and carbon steel track bolts to ensure a leak-tight seal even under vibration or slight pipe misalignment. Ideal for fire protection (UL/FM approved), HVAC, and industrial mechanical systems where a “Flexible” (rather than Rigid) joint is necessary to protect the pipeline from stress.
