During the service, technicians drain any remaining contents, inspect the internal cylinder lining for corrosion, refill the tank with 6.0 liters of clean water, and replace the rubber O-ring valve seals. The cylinder is then pressurized with dry nitrogen gas to its standard working pressure, leak-tested, and fitted with a new safety pin, tamper seal, and updated service tag.
