Description
The 6 Liter Water Fire Extinguisher Hydrostatic Testing & Refilling Service restores spent, partially used, or due-for-inspection portable water fire extinguishers back to full operational readiness. Stored-pressure water extinguishers operate under continuous nitrogen gas pressure (12 to 14 bar) to discharge a solid stream of water for Class A solid combustible fires (wood, paper, textiles, trash). Over time, internal lining breakdown, water stagnation, thermal fluctuations, or degradation of internal valve seals can lead to pressure loss or interior shell oxidation.
Features
- Civil Defense & NFPA 10 Compliant: Ensures complete regulatory adherence for commercial premises, schools, warehouses, residential buildings, and office spaces.
- Pressure Vessel Safety Verification: Proof testing at 25-27 bar ensures cylinder wall integrity and eliminates risk of vessel rupture or stress failure under pressure.
- Interior Shell & Plastic Lining Inspection: Verifies internal corrosion-resistant polyethylene lining to prevent metal rust and contamination of the discharge stream.
- Complete Valve & Seal Overhaul: All critical rubber seals, O-rings, pressure gauges, and safety pins are tested or replaced to prevent slow pressure leaks and maintain long-term standby capability.
