The Aico Ei146e is a mains-powered photoelectric smoke detector designed for residential applications such as hallways, landings, living rooms, and bedrooms. Operating on a 230V AC mains supply with a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery, it ensures continuous operation during power outages. The alarm houses a high-performance optical sensing chamber equipped with automatic dust compensation and a fine mesh insect screen to counteract chamber degradation and reduce false alarms. Built with an Easi-fit mounting plate, the unit allows straightforward surface wiring and quick head replacement. The Ei146e can be hardwire interconnected with up to 12 compatible devices or converted to RF wireless interconnection using the optional Ei168RC RadioLINK base.
