Description
The Apollo Discovery 58000-400APO is an open-area intelligent addressable heat detector engineered for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety systems. Utilizing a single thermistor sensing element coupled with onboard microchip algorithms, the unit evaluates linear ambient temperature changes to provide precise fire response in locations where dust, smoke, or steam prevent optical detector installation. It operates across a 17V to 28V DC supply range on standard XP95 and Discovery protocol loops. The detector features five field-programmable operating modes spanning Class A1R (rate-of-rise standard) up to Class CS (high-temperature static static limit up to 90°C), XPERT style base addressing, dual 360-degree status LEDs, and full EN 54-5 certification.
