The Apollo Series 65 55000-121APO Heat Detector is engineered to maintain safety integrity and provide reliable thermal fire detection in environments where ambient smoke, steam, dust, or fumes preclude the use of optical smoke detectors. Operating on a rate-of-rise thermal response principle combined with a fixed temperature upper limit (Class A1R), this conventional detector triggers an alarm when temperatures rise rapidly or exceed 54°C to 65°C. Constructed with a flame-retardant white polycarbonate housing, wide 9V to 33V DC supply voltage capability, integrated anti-tamper locking mechanism, and dual clear alarm LEDs, it ensures seamless integration across conventional fire detection networks while eliminating false alarms in dusty or smoky areas such as kitchens, boiler rooms, and loading bays.
