The Apollo 55000-400APO is an open-area analogue-addressable standard-temperature thermal heat detector designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire protection systems. Utilizing a single NTC thermistor network housed in a low-airflow-resistance casing, the detector continuously monitors ambient temperature changes and produces an analogue voltage signal proportional to environmental heat. Classified as a Class A2S device under EN 54-5, it triggers an analogue alarm signal at a static threshold of 55°C, making it an ideal detection solution for environments where dust, steam, or smoke prevent the use of optical smoke sensors. The unit operates over a 17V to 28V DC loop supply, employs XPERT card mechanical addressing via the mounting base, includes a clear red status LED, and supports remote indicator connection.
