Shield Alpha 1000 S-C1100 Reflective Beam Detector (50 m to 100 m)

The Shield Alpha 1000 S-C1100 (Model S-C1100) is an optical reflective beam smoke detector manufactured by Shield for large open-plan facilities such as warehouses, shopping malls, sports arenas, exhibition centers, and industrial halls. Operating on the light obscuration principle, the single-ended transceiver projects an invisible infrared beam across the protected space to a passive retro-reflector target, which reflects the signal back to the receiver for continuous smoke monitoring. Specifically engineered for extended optical spans between 50 meters and 100 meters, the detector incorporates a built-in laser pointer and a digital LED readout to make alignment fast and accurate. Equipped with microprocessor-controlled automatic drift compensation, field-adjustable sensitivity settings, and volt-free fire and fault relays, the unit integrates easily into conventional fire safety networks or addressable loops via interface modules.
