The BY-B2308U is a specialized “hanging-type” exit sign typically used in high-ceiling environments like hotel lobbies, airport terminals, and modern office corridors where a surface-mounted box would be impractical or aesthetically unpleasing. Unlike self-contained 230V units, this model is powered and monitored by a 36V DC central control panel (such as the BY-350-DC36U). It features a slim, double-sided profile and utilizes high-efficiency LEDs to maintain a 30-meter viewing distance. Its addressable nature allows the central system to perform automated tests and provide real-time status updates on the unit’s LiFePO? battery and LED health.
