The C-TEC C4403A1R is an open-area conventional Class A1R thermal heat detector engineered for commercial, residential, and institutional fire alarm systems. Designed for installation in dusty, dirty, or smoky environments such as kitchens, boiler rooms, workshops, and laundries, the detector monitors both the rate of ambient temperature rise and a 57°C fixed static upper limit to detect fires quickly. It operates over a 9V to 33V DC supply range, incorporates dual red status LEDs offering 360-degree visibility, supports remote indicator LED outputs, and mounts onto C4408 series conventional bases equipped with anti-tamper head locking features.
