C-Tec C4416 ActiV Optical Smoke Detector

The C-Tec C4416 ActiV is an optical smoke detector designed for integration into standard 2-wire conventional fire alarm systems, including C-Tec’s CFP, FP, and MFP panel ranges. Operating on the light-scattering detection principle, an internal infrared LED source and photodiode continually monitor ambient air in escape routes, bedrooms, and enclosed areas. The detector features automated drift compensation algorithms that dynamically recalibrate sensing thresholds as dust accumulates, extending operational lifespan to over 8 years. Housed in a white polycarbonate casing, the C4416 includes twin 8mm x 2mm red LED indicator strips providing 360-degree visual status, short-circuit protected remote LED output, and full third-party EN54-7 certification by Intertek.
