The C-TEC CAST CA414 is an open-area intelligent addressable multi-sensor (optical/heat) fire detector engineered for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety systems. Operating on C-TEC’s proprietary CAST (C-TEC Addressable System Technology) protocol, the detector integrates an optical smoke scattering chamber with a precise thermistor heat sensor. It offers multiple selectable operating modes (such as combined optical/heat, optical only, or heat only) that can be programmed manually or scheduled by time of day via the control panel. Certified to EN 54-5, EN 54-7, and EN 54-17, the unit includes an integral short-circuit isolator, dual status LEDs for 360-degree visibility, and mounts onto CA408 standard CAST bases.
