C-TEC CAST CA738 Sounder Control Module

The C-TEC CAST CA738 is an addressable sounder control module designed to interface and power conventional sounder circuits from a CAST fire alarm loop. Operating on C-TEC’s high-performance CAST protocol, this interface module allows existing or conventional sounders, bells, and strobes to be monitored and driven directly on an addressable fire alarm system. Equipped with an integral short-circuit isolator to protect the loop against cable faults, the CA738 continually monitors field wiring for open and short circuits to guarantee system operational readiness. Housed in a durable enclosure with onboard LED status indicators, it provides flexible power options via external supply or loop power, making it a reliable solution for expanding notification coverage on C-TEC CAST addressable panels.
