CLA-VAL Deluge Fire Protection Systems are designed to protect high-challenge hazard areas where thermal or chemical fires can spread instantaneously. Built around CLA-VAL’s proven diaphragm-actuated main valve design (such as the Model 134-05 and 800 Series), these systems remain closed under system water pressure until activated by an electric solenoid, pneumatic pilot, or manual emergency release trim.

Upon actuation, the CLA-VAL deluge valve instantly vents its control chamber, allowing full pipe-diameter water flow to feed open deluge nozzles, spray heads, or foam monitors simultaneously. Designed with minimal moving parts and no mechanical linkages, CLA-VAL deluge valves provide drip-tight sealing, rapid opening response, low head loss, and maximum resistance against harsh seawater, chemical, or high-vibration operational environments.
