Codesec Conventional Smoke Detector with base

The Codesec Conventional Smoke Detector is an optical photoelectric smoke detector engineered for installation in standard 2-wire conventional fire alarm networks. Operating on an infrared light-scattering chamber principle, the detector continuously samples ambient air to identify visible smoke particles generated by slow-smoldering fires. To drastically cut false alarms from temporary dust spikes or steam, the unit incorporates an internal microprocessor that verifies smoke density three consecutive times prior to triggering the full alarm state. Supplied with a twist-lock bayonet mounting base with screw terminals, the detector features low standby power draw, operational polling status indication, 360-degree LED visibility, and a remote indicator output terminal.
