Codesec DC232 Conventional Combined Heat and Optical Smoke Detector

The Codesec DC232 is an intelligent conventional combined optical smoke and heat detector engineered by Codesec (Kod Electronic and Security Systems) for commercial, industrial, and residential fire alarm installations. Designed for multi-hazard protection, the device integrates a photoelectric light-scattering smoke chamber with a precision constant-temperature thermistor. Controlled by an onboard microprocessor, it uses multi-criteria processing to analyze both light scattering and thermal levels, enabling early response to fast-flaming fires and smoldering smoke while rejecting transient environmental false alarms. Operating on a standard 2-wire 9V to 30V DC conventional zone loop, the unit features non-polarized wiring connections, twin red status LEDs providing 360-degree visibility, a dedicated remote indicator driver output, and full compliance with EN 54-5 and EN 54-7 standards.
