The Codesec DD-T Detector Base is a standard mounting plate manufactured by Codesec for flush and standard surface installation of its conventional and addressable smoke, heat, and combined fire detectors. Engineered for streamlined field installation and reliable electrical connectivity, the base features clearly marked, heavy-duty screw terminals for loop input and output wiring. It includes a dedicated terminal to connect a parallel remote alarm LED indicator (such as the Codesec PL001) for detectors placed in hidden locations. Housed in a durable, white flame-retardant ABS plastic casing, the DD-T provides a secure twist-lock fitting that allows fast detector head insertion, routine testing, and easy maintenance.
