Codesec DD503 Addressable Combined Detector

The Codesec DD503 is an intelligent addressable multi-sensor fire detector engineered by Codesec (Kod Electronic and Security Systems) for commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection systems. By integrating a photoelectric light-scattering smoke chamber with a precision constant-temperature thermal thermistor inside a single low-profile housing, the device continuously monitors both smoke density and static heat threshold levels. Controlled by an internal single-chip MCU executing intelligent signal evaluation logic, it rapidly detects smoldering fires and fast-flaming combustion while rejecting transient environmental false alarms. Operating on a 16V to 30V DC addressable 2-wire loop, the detector supports digital soft addressing via the PP201 handheld device programmer (1–250 range), features twin red status LEDs for 360-degree visual feedback, supports remote LED indicator output, and complies with EN 54-5 and EN 54-7 standards.
