The Codesec DD512 is an open-area intelligent addressable high-temperature heat detector engineered for commercial and industrial facilities subject to elevated ambient temperatures, such as boiler rooms, commercial kitchens, bakeries, and processing plants. Built with an onboard microprocessor and precision thermistor sensor, the unit uses a fixed high-temperature response calibrated to activate at 78°C. It communicates across 16V to 30V DC addressable loop systems, supports field addressing via the PP201 portable programmer (address range 1-250), provides dual status LEDs with 360-degree visibility, and includes remote indicator output terminals for connection to parallel LED modules like the PL002.
