The Codesec DD513-I is an intelligent addressable multi-sensor fire detector engineered by Codesec (Kod Electronic and Security Systems) for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire protection systems. By integrating a photoelectric light-scattering smoke chamber with a precision constant-temperature thermal thermistor into a single low-profile housing, the device evaluates both smoke concentration and ambient thermal changes. Controlled by an internal microprocessor with self-calibration capabilities, the unit continuously monitors chamber conditions to eliminate false alarms caused by dust buildup or environmental fluctuations. Equipped with a built-in bidirectional loop short-circuit isolator, the detector safeguards loop continuity during cable short faults without affecting adjacent loop devices. Operating on a 16V to 30V DC addressable loop, it features soft addressing via the PP201 handheld programmer (1–250 range), twin lightway LEDs providing 360-degree status visibility, dedicated remote indicator outputs, and full EN 54 compliance
