Cooper CPT341 Conventional Photo-Thermal Detector

The Cooper CPT341 is a high-performance conventional photo-thermal detector designed by Cooper (Eaton) for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire alarm installations. By integrating an optical scattering light chamber with an electronic thermistor heat sensor, the detector dynamically evaluates both smoke density and thermal activity. This multi-sensor design enables rapid response to fast clean-burning flaming fires while retaining high sensitivity to slow-smoldering smoke. Thermal integration raises the alarm threshold safety window to resist transient false alarms while providing a fixed thermal alarm trigger if ambient temperatures exceed 60°C. Operating on a standard 2-wire 24V DC conventional zone loop, the unit features 360-degree light-pipe LED visibility, automatic drift compensation, a removable chamber for easy servicing, and full LPCB EN 54 certification.
