The Cooper FXN520 (Part Number: FXN520) by Eaton (formerly Cooper Notification / FXN Series) is a universal mounting base specifically engineered for the installation and wiring of Cooper conventional fire detectors, including smoke and heat detector models. Designed to streamline field wiring and reduce installation time, the FXN520 provides a sturdy, flush- or surface-mountable platform equipped with heavy-duty screw terminals for fast loop connections. The base accepts standard field cabling and supports a dedicated output connection for an external remote LED indicator. Featuring an intuitive quarter-turn twist-lock design with anti-tamper locking capability, it ensures a secure mechanical and electrical connection to the detector head while allowing quick removal for maintenance, cleaning, or routine testing.
