The Cooper MCIM Intelligent Addressable Micro Single Channel Input Unit is an ultra-compact input module designed to monitor a single set of normally open, volt-free dry contacts. Operating directly on an 18V DC to 30V DC addressable loop, this miniature interface allows external equipment signals—such as waterflow switches, non-fire technical inputs, or auxiliary panel fault contacts—to be continuously supervised for open and short circuit wiring faults using an end-of-line resistor. It features intelligent soft-addressing technology for quick plug-and-play setup without hard addressing switches, a low quiescent current of 310µA, and an integral short-circuit line isolator to maintain total loop reliability. Its extremely small footprint makes it ideal for installation directly inside third-party equipment enclosures or electrical back boxes in commercial life safety applications.
