The Dahua DHI-HY-BD1 Beam Detector is engineered to maintain safety integrity and deliver reliable fire detection across large open areas where standard point smoke detectors are impractical or cost-prohibitive. Utilizing a combined transmitter/receiver unit paired with a distant reflective mirror, this optical beam detector projects an infrared light path across wide distances up to 100 meters. Integrated with motorized auto-alignment technology and laser targeting, it automatically compensates for structural movement, drift, and building settling over time.
