Description
The Defender DP8 is an automatic, pre-engineered wet chemical fire extinguishing system specifically optimized for modern food service operations to deliver autonomous protection without requiring building electricity, external pressure cartridges, or complex mechanical pulley runs. Operating via a low-pressure 12 Bar steel cylinder filled with Defender’s specialized “Fire Eraser” wet chemical solution, the system provides localized suppression across an 8-flow point matrix. Activation is managed by a continuous, pressurized linear pneumatic heat detection tube routed inside the hood canopy; when a fire triggers a thermal burst along the tube, the rapid pressure drop triggers a differential pneumatic valve on the cylinder, discharging the low-pH solution through non-clogging CNC-machined full-cone nozzles to instantly knock down flames and saponify hot grease into a vapor-sealing foam blanket that prevents re-flash.
