Description

The Esser 704900 is the physical enclosure for “Large Design” manual call points. Because Esser systems often separate the housing from the electronic module, this component provides the rugged exterior, the visible alarm pictogram (burning house symbol), and the mechanical triggering mechanism. It comes standard with a break-glass pane (Part No. 704910) and is finished in flame-red ABS plastic. Its spacious interior makes it easier to wire in industrial settings compared to the “Compact” versions, and it features multiple cable entry points on the top, bottom, and rear for flexible installation.

  • Versatile Cable Entry: Equipped with 2x cable entries on the top, 2x on the bottom, and 2x on the rear panel, accommodating both surface-mount and flush-mount conduit.
  • “Out of Order” Indicator: Includes a reversible operating front foil that allows maintenance staff to mark the device as non-functional during system testing or downtime.
  • Test Functionality: Supports non-destructive testing via a specialized manual call point service key (Part No. 769910), allowing you to verify the alarm circuit without breaking the glass.
  • Standard Pictogram: Features the mandatory “burning house” symbol as per EN 54-11, ensuring universal recognition during an emergency.
  • High Durability: The PC ASA plastic construction is UV-resistant and flame-retardant, making it suitable for a wide range of indoor and sheltered outdoor applications.
