The Esser 804382.D0 is a specialized micromodule that acts as the hardware interface between the fire alarm control panel and the field devices. The “PLus” (Powered Loop) designation is critical: unlike standard loop modules, the 804382.D0 provides sufficient power directly over the two-wire loop to drive high-current notification appliances such as sounders, beacons, and speech devices (IQ8Alarm series).
