The Esser 806202 is the heavy-duty version of the standard IQ8Alarm base. It is engineered to upgrade the ingress protection of signaling devices from the standard IP43 to IP56, making the assembly resistant to dust and high-pressure water jets. This base is essential for installations in harsh environments such as outdoor building perimeters, industrial processing plants, warehouses, and damp underground areas. It features a red housing to match “R” series devices and includes specialized gaskets and side-entry points for waterproof cable glands to maintain the integrity of the loop connection.
