Description

This commercial-grade, non-UL listed Packaged Fire Fighting Pump Set is engineered to provide a robust and steady water supply for medium-hazard commercial facilities, warehouses, residential complexes, and light industrial networks. Designed in a standard Tri-Pump Configuration (Electric + Diesel + Jockey), this system guarantees operational continuity and high-pressure delivery during fire emergencies.

The primary electric motor-driven centrifugal pump handles the main system demand under normal power conditions. A full-capacity, compression-ignition industrial diesel engine pump acts as a fully redundant backup, activating instantly via an independent battery system if local utility power fails. The vertical multistage jockey pump maintains steady static line pressure during non-emergency periods, mitigating short-cycling of the larger primary pumps due to thermal fluctuations or minor pipe leaks. The entire assembly is pre-piped, pre-wired, and systematically mounted on a structural steel skid base, complete with individual automatic control panels, pressure sensing lines, and structural isolation valving for direct field commissioning.

Features

  • High-Pressure Utility Performance: Delivers 100 GPM at 10 Bar of pressure, making it perfectly suited for standard fire hose cabinets, hydrant systems, and commercial sprinkler lines.
  • Turnkey Skid Integration: Fully assembled, aligned, and pressure-tested on a single rigid structural steel frame to minimize onsite footprint and drastically lower field installation labor.
  • Automated Redundancy: Provides reliable emergency backup through an autonomous diesel engine pump that activates automatically upon mains electrical failure or pressure line drops.
  • Independent Smart Control Panels: Features dedicated automatic control panels for each pump, housing automated battery charging circuits, operational run-timers, and explicit fault diagnostic arrays.
  • Robust Mechanical Trim: Built utilizing high-tensile cast iron casings, corrosion-resistant bronze impellers, and stainless steel shafts to ensure smooth mechanical movement even after long standby durations.

Specifications

  • System Type: Pre-Engineered Packaged Fire Fighting Pump Skid (E.D.J. Configuration)
  • Design Guidelines: Built in general compliance with international fire fighting standards (Non-UL / Non-FM Listed)
  • Rated Flow Capacity: 100 US GPM (378 LPM)
  • Rated Net Pressure: 10 Bar (145 PSI / ~102 meters of head)
  • System Configuration:
    • Main Pump (Electric): Centrifugal End-Suction or Multistage Pump, close or flexibly coupled to a high-efficiency TEFC industrial electric motor.
    • Standby Pump (Diesel): Redundant Centrifugal End-Suction Pump, flexibly coupled to a multi-cylinder industrial diesel engine with a dual-battery 12V/24V DC electric starting system.
    • Jockey Pump: Vertical Multistage centrifugal pump sized to deliver approximately 3% to 5% of system capacity (~3–5 GPM) at a pressure rating roughly 0.7 to 1 Bar higher than the main pump configuration.
  • Control Panels: Three independent, skid-mounted automated control enclosures (Electric Motor Controller, Diesel Engine Controller, and Jockey Pump Controller) featuring manual/automatic starting logic, battery chargers, phase monitoring, and operational status indicators.
  • Manifold & Trim: Heavy-gauge scheduled steel suction and discharge manifolds equipped with concentric/eccentric reducers, industrial gate/butterfly valves, non-slam check valves, pressure gauges, and automated air relief valves.
