Description
This UL Listed and NFPA 20 compliant Packaged Fire Pump System provides an automated, fail-safe water supply for light-hazard fire suppression networks, including fire hose cabinets, small-scale commercial sprinklers, and residential mist systems. Configured as a classic Tri-Pump Skid (Electric + Diesel + Jockey), it ensures uninterrupted line pressure under any emergency condition.
The primary electric pump handles standard demand, while the independent diesel-driven pump acts as a full-capacity redundant backup if local electrical power fails. The smaller, vertical multistage jockey pump manages trivial pressure losses caused by thermal contraction or minor pipe leaks, protecting the main pumps from unnecessary cycling. Pre-piped, pre-wired, and pressure-tested on a heavy-duty structural steel base, this complete assembly includes independent UL-listed control panels, sensing lines, and necessary suction/discharge valving for immediate field integration.
Features
- Full NFPA 20 Dual Redundancy: Provides absolute security by matching the 50 GPM @ 6 Bar demand with an independent diesel backup that activates instantly upon utility power loss.
- Turnkey Skid Integration: Assembled, pre-wired, and performance-tested on a single structural base frame to reduce layout footprints and onsite plumbing installation labor.
- Automatic Pressure Maintenance: The integrated jockey pump handles normal system pressure maintenance smoothly, preventing large thermal fluctuations from triggering the main fire pumps.
- Smart Controller Diagnostics: Microprocessor-based control panels provide continuous monitoring of phase status, engine oil pressure, engine water temperature, and battery cranking health.
- Robust Hardware Architecture: Built using high-integrity cast/ductile iron pump casings, bronze impellers, and stainless steel shafts to prevent internal rust and seizure during long standby periods.
Specifications
- System Type: Pre-Fabricated Packaged Fire Pump Skid (E.D.J. Configuration)
