Firecel SR 104 Fire Resistant Cable 2-Core + Earth 2.5mm² – White, 100m Roll (Solid Bare Copper)

Constructed with an LTS3-type LSZH thermoplastic sheath in accordance with BS 7655, these cables are primarily utilized for building fire detection and alarm networks. They are further optimized for emergency lighting, central battery systems, and voice communication/alarm circuits. While red and white are the standard jacket colors, custom colors can be provided upon request.

Technical Specification

Primary Conductor: Features high-purity, plain annealed copper, engineered in either a rigid Solid Class 1 or a flexible Stranded Class 2 configuration in full compliance with EN 60228.
Thermal Insulation: Cores are protected by high-grade silicone rubber (Type EI2), a specialized fire-resistant barrier that meets the rigorous performance criteria of BS EN 50363-1.
Internal Assembly: Multiple insulated conductors are precision-twisted (cabled together) to ensure a stable and consistent internal geometry.
Electromagnetic Shield: An integrated Aluminium/Polyester laminate tape provides a continuous screen, safeguarding signal integrity against external interference.
Outer Protection: The final layer consists of a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) thermoplastic (Type LTS3), formulated according to BS 7655 to minimize toxic emissions and smoke density during combustion.
