The Fireclass 601P is a conventional optical smoke detector engineered for reliable early warning fire detection across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Utilizing an advanced optical chamber operating on the light-scattering principle, the 601P reacts swiftly to visible smoke particles emitted by slow-burning or smoldering fires while providing high stability against false alarms caused by ambient disturbances.

Part of the Fireclass 600 Series conventional range, the detector operates across a broad DC voltage spectrum, making it fully compatible with standard 24V conventional fire alarm control panels. It features integral visual LED indicators for quick status identification, remote indicator drive capability, and an aerodynamically optimized housing designed to facilitate smooth airflow into the optical sensing chamber.

  • Insect & False Alarm Suppression: Features specialized sampling chamber geometry and digital signal processing to eliminate false alarms triggered by tiny insects (such as thrips) or transient dust particles.
  • Polarity Insensitive Wiring: Built-in bridge circuitry allows positive and negative line connections to terminal L1 and L without worrying about polarity errors.
  • Remote LED Output Drive: Equipped with a dedicated remote indicator terminal (R) to power external status LEDs in void spaces, ducts, or locked rooms.
