The Firehawk FH700HIA (Firehawk Deaf & Hard of Hearing Alarm Kit) is an essential auxiliary fire safety notification system engineered by Safeguard Electronics / Firehawk for domestic and residential installations. Designed to safeguard individuals with partial or total hearing loss, the system translates auditory fire alarm signals into powerful tactile vibrations and intense visual light flashes. The kit comprises a mains-powered base control unit with an integrated high-intensity flash strobe and a plugin heavy-duty vibrating pad designed to be placed beneath a pillow or mattress. Communicating wirelessly via Firehawk’s Fast-Fix RF radio frequency technology, the system links seamlessly with Firehawk mains and battery-powered smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide alarms. In the event of a fire or gas trigger, the base unit instantly activates the strobe and bed shaker while providing clear system status indicators and a dedicated manual test/silence button.
