The Frontier FRN 30 is an open-area intelligent addressable optical smoke detector engineered for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety installations. Built with a dual-cover housing structure, the detector uses an optical light-scattering chamber to quickly sense visible smoke particles from slow-burning fires. It operates on a standard 24V DC (18V to 28V DC) 2-wire addressable loop, supports electronic field addressing, and features a multi-status red LED that flashes during normal communication polling and illuminates continuously upon alarm activation.
