Designed for wall or ceiling mounting, this self-contained emergency sign continuously operates on standard AC power while charging its internal high-temperature rechargeable battery. In the event of a mains power interruption, the solid-state automatic transfer mechanism instantly switches power to the long-life green LED backlight, illuminating the high-contrast “EXIT” legend and directional arrows for a minimum 3-hour duration.
