The GST I-9102 is an intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety networks. Operating on an infrared scattering principle, the unit continuously samples ambient air for visible smoke particles produced by slow-burning, smoldering fires. To maintain long-term stability and reliability, the integrated 8-bit microprocessor incorporates automatic dynamic drift compensation to adjust for environmental changes and dust accumulation over time. The I-9102 connects via a non-polarized 2-wire loop, supports electronic field programming (address range 1 to 242), features a remote indicator output, and mounts onto the standard DZ-03 base.
