GST DC-9503E Loop Isolator

The GST DC-9503E is a loop isolator module designed to protect addressable fire alarm communication loops from total system failure caused by short circuits. Installed at strategic intervals along a 2-wire addressable detection loop, this module continuously monitors line conditions and isolates fault-affected wiring sections to prevent full loop shutdown and ensure surrounding devices remain operational. It features automatic reset capabilities to seamlessly reintroduce isolated sections back onto the system as soon as the short circuit is resolved. With a compact form factor supporting both 35mm DIN-rail and surface mounting, low standby power consumption, and a yellow status LED indicator for visual fault diagnostics, the EN54-17 certified DC-9503E enhances total network reliability across GST intelligent fire safety installations.
