The Hochiki DFG-60BLKJ is an open-area conventional waterproof thermal heat detector specifically engineered for harsh, high-humidity, and wet environments where standard fire detectors would fail. Utilizing a bi-metallic strip mechanism enclosed in a sealed IP67 housing, the unit operates by triggering a direct contact-closure alarm state when surrounding ambient temperatures reach 60°C. Designed for complete standalone mounting without requiring a separate mounting base, the detector connects via pre-fitted flying leads and is ideal for deployment in industrial washdown areas, commercial kitchens, saunas, outdoor locations, and exposed marine installations.
