The Honeywell Morley HM-FHSE-S2 forms part of the S200A range of intelligent addressable thermal sensors engineered for high-performance fire detection in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. Incorporating low-mass thermistor technology combined with microcircuitry smoothing filters, the detector provides rapid, linear thermal processing to deliver reliable 78°C fixed-temperature fire response while eliminating transient environmental false alarms. Operating on Honeywell’s digital Advanced Protocol, the detector can also be panel-configured across 58°C, 78°C, or rate-of-rise operational modes. Designed for deployment in spaces where ambient temperatures are elevated or where airborne pollutants invalidate optical smoke sensors—such as boiler rooms, drying plants, kitchens, and manufacturing bays—it features rotary decade address switches, dual 360° visual status LEDs, B501AP base compatibility, and full LPCB EN 54-5 approval.
