The Honeywell Morley S200A (HM-PTSE-S2 / HM-PTSE-S2-IV) is an intelligent analog addressable multi-sensor fire detector manufactured by Honeywell Morley-IAS for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety networks. By combining an optical photoelectric light-scattering chamber with an electronic thermistor heat sensor and an integrated short-circuit loop isolator, the detector evaluates both smoke particle obscuration and rate of temperature rise (Class A1R) simultaneously. Driven by an onboard microprocessor running intelligent signal processing algorithms, the unit provides fast detection of fast-flaming blazes and slow-smoldering fires while delivering superior resistance to deceptive false alarm sources. Operating across a 15V to 32V DC addressable loop via the Morley Advanced protocol, it features decade rotary decimal switches for straightforward address assignment (1–159 range), automatic optical chamber drift compensation, twin 360-degree multi-color status LEDs, remote indicator driver outputs, and full LPCB, VdS, and CE certifications under EN 54-5, EN 54-7, and EN 54-17.
