Honeywell Morley S200A HM-PTSE-S2 Thermal Multi-Criteria Detector

The Honeywell Morley S200A (HM-PTSE-S2 / HM-PTSE-S2-IV) is an analog addressable multi-sensor fire detector manufactured by Honeywell Morley-IAS for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety applications. Combining a redesigned optical photoelectric smoke chamber with a fast-acting electronic thermistor heat sensor inside a low-profile housing, the unit evaluates smoke particle density and thermal rate of rise (Class A1R / 58°C fixed) simultaneously. Controlled by an onboard microprocessor executing advanced smoothing filters and algorithms, the detector rapidly identifies diverse fire types—from fast-flaming blazes to slow-smoldering fires—while delivering high immunity to deceptive false alarm sources like dust and insects. Operating on a 15V to 32V DC addressable loop via the Morley Advanced protocol, it features physical rotary switches for simple decimal addressing (1–159 range), dynamic optical chamber drift compensation, twin 360-degree multi-color status LEDs, remote indicator driver outputs, and full LPCB, VdS, and CE approvals under EN 54-5 and EN 54-7.
