Designed to be fitted onto a dedicated isolator base (such as the Apollo 45681-211), the 55000-720APO continuously monitors the loop voltage for short-circuit conditions. In the event of a wiring short, the isolator trips and isolates the faulty loop segment between adjacent isolators, preventing the entire addressable circuit from shutting down. Once the short circuit is resolved, the module automatically resets to restore full power and communication to the line. Featuring a high-efficiency status LED indicator and low power consumption, it ensures maximum reliability and code compliance in critical life safety installations.
