Description
The LEDE Threaded Conical Union (GMI Series) is a three-piece pipe fitting designed to join two lengths of 1-inch pipe that can be easily separated for service or equipment replacement. Unlike flat-seat unions that require a gasket, this model features a Conical Joint with a precision-machined metal-to-metal interface. This design provides a superior, high-pressure seal that is less prone to degradation over time.
Constructed from Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), this union provides the mechanical strength necessary for high-vibration environments, such as pump rooms and fire riser manifolds. The fitting is finished with a Red Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) or high-grade paint to ensure maximum resistance to corrosion and environmental moisture.
