The LEDE Threaded Square Head Plug (GMI Series) is a high-reliability fitting designed to permanently or temporarily seal the female-threaded end of a 1-inch pipe or fitting. This model features a solid Square Head design, which provides a large surface area for wrenches to grip, ensuring a leak-proof, high-torque installation even in demanding environments.
Constructed from Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), this plug offers superior strength and resistance to mechanical stress compared to standard malleable iron plugs. It is finished with a high-durability Red Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coating, which provides essential corrosion protection for both internal and external surfaces in fire suppression networks.
