Description
The LEDE Threaded Reducing Socket is engineered to provide a high-strength connection between two pipes of different diameters. This 1″ x 1/2″ model is a standard for fire protection installations, often used to transition from branch lines to individual sprinkler head connections or smaller trim piping.
Unlike standard malleable iron fittings, this socket is manufactured from Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), which offers superior tensile strength and impact resistance. The fitting features precision-machined internal threads (BSPT or NPT) to ensure a leak-proof seal under high pressure. The exterior is finished with a signature Red Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) or high-grade paint, providing excellent protection against rust and ensuring long-term durability in both wet and dry environments.
