Description
The LEDE Threaded Hex Bushing (GMI Series) is a compact fitting used to connect two pipes or fittings of different sizes. This 2″ x 1″ bushing features external threads to fit into a 2-inch opening and internal threads to accept a 1-inch pipe or nipple. Its hexagonal head allows for easy tightening with a standard wrench, making it an ideal choice for tight spaces where a standard reducing socket would be too bulky.
Manufactured from Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), this bushing offers significantly higher tensile strength and pressure resistance than traditional malleable iron alternatives. Each unit is finished with a signature Red Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) or high-grade paint to ensure long-term corrosion resistance in fire suppression networks.
