Description
The LEDE Model XD381X-100 (4-inch) is a high-reliability isolation valve specifically engineered for the fire protection industry. This valve features Grooved Ends compliant with AWWA C606, allowing for rapid and secure assembly with standard mechanical couplings on Schedule 40 (SCH40) pipes.
The valve is equipped with a high-performance Gear Operator that provides a slow-close mechanism to prevent the risk of water hammer in the fire main. It features a built-in Supervisory Tamper Switch pre-wired to the internal gearbox. This allows for immediate notification to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) if the valve is moved from its fully open position. The ductile iron disc is fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber, ensuring bubble-tight shut-off and zero-leakage performance under high-pressure conditions.
