The LEDE Model LV3121-150 is a high-performance Non-Rising Stem (NRS) gate valve engineered for fire protection and industrial fluid control. Unlike the OS&Y model, the NRS design features an internal thread mechanism where the stem turns but does not move vertically. This makes it the ideal choice for installations with limited overhead clearance or for use in pits and vaults.
Designed specifically for Schedule 40 (SCH40) grooved piping systems, this valve ensures a fast, secure connection using standard mechanical couplings. The body is cast from high-grade Ductile Iron, and the wedge is fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber, providing a high-integrity, resilient seal that prevents leakage and resists mineral buildup over time.
